Verizon FiOS Universal Remote Codes
Besides the voice remote—which will allow Fios subscribers to vary the channel, look for video-on-demand programming and control their DVRs with voice commands—and Netflix, the new TV One platform is getting a Wi-Fi Connectivity feature and 4K Ultra HD support.

The Wi-Fi Connectivity feature will allow Fios users to put TVs far away from coax outlets and connect extra Fios set-top boxes wirelessly to the TV through the Wi-Fi network.
But the Fios TV One update seemingly demonstrates that Verizon is invested in growing (or a minimum of maintaining) its traditional video distribution business. It also shows that the corporate has been taking notes on what its cable competitors are doing.
Power activates or off both your STB and television once you are in STB mode. (If you’ve got a DVR STB, the DVR will still record scheduled programs when off.) However, you’ll reprogram how the facility Key works.
If you would like the facility Key to regulate multiple devices at once
- Press and hold the STB key.
- While holding down the STB key, press OK.
- Release both keys. The Device Keys will blink twice.
- Press 9 – 7 – 7. The STB key will blink twice.
- One after the opposite, press each Device Key you would like the facility Key to regulate, within the order you would like them to show on or off. Each selected Device Key will blink twice after it’s pressed.
- Press OK when done. The STB key will blink 3 times to Point Success in programming.
How to program your Verizon remote together with your TV
- Find the remote code for your TV within the list below and write it down
- Turn on your TV and therefore the FiOS TV Set-Top Box. confirm you’ll see live TV.
- Press and hold the OK and 0 (zero) buttons at a similar time.
- The red LED light blinks 2 times then stays on.
- Enter the remote code for your TV that you simply located in step 1.
- The red LED light blinks 2 times then stays on.
- Press and release the Ch+ button until the TV turns off. You’ll also copy by pressing the Ch- button.
The mobile remote not only has similar features as a regular FiOS remote but contains additional functions, including the power to instantly transfer photos from the handset to the TV screen.
As a part of its new innovative campaign, FiOS customers who have an HD set-top box and a Motorola Droid or HTC Imagio mobile can use their handset as a remote. The mobile will now have an equivalent function as a typical FiOS remote. The devices themselves are not any larger than a cable modem or large analog modem. Verizon has made to their FiOS Internet and FiOS TV products. I do wish they’d raise the speed of their basic FiOS Internet package.
